Our verdict
With the Extreme Off-Road Package, the HUMMER EV Pickup has front and rear lockers, underbody armor and cameras, and GMC's Extract Mode figures of 16 inches of clearance and a 49.7-degree approach angle. It's large, expensive and not much of a hauler, but for technical trails it's the best-equipped electric truck GM sells.
Best for
Buyers with a big budget who want factory lockers, armor, underbody cameras and extreme approach angles in an electric pickup.
Skip it if
You need a practical work truck; the bed is short, payload is modest and the price is steep.

- gmc.com 'starting at' MSRP for the 2026 HUMMER EV Pickup 2X; the 3X starts at $105,300. Every version is multi-motor all-wheel drive. The Carbon Fiber Edition is a limited 3X-based model.

Off-road hardware
4WD / AWD system
Electric all-wheel drive with no transfer case and no low range: 2X uses two motors (one per axle), 3X uses three (one front, two rear). Air Ride Adaptive Suspension includes Extract Mode, which raises the truck about 6 inches. 4-Wheel Steer enables CrabWalk (diagonal movement at low speed) and the new King Crab mode, which turns the rear wheels twice as far as the fronts to swing the tail around on a trail. The Extreme Off-Road Package adds driver-selectable front and rear electronic lockers.
