Our verdict

The Sierra EV AT4 brings a real lift, 35-inch tires and four-wheel steer to a quiet, long-range electric truck. GMC hasn't published its off-road angles and there's no locker, so it's best on dirt roads and moderate trails. Shoppers who don't need the GMC cabin should compare it with the similar, cheaper Silverado EV Trail Boss.

Best for

Buyers who want a premium electric full-size truck with long range and enough lift and tire on the AT4 for rough roads and easy trails.

Skip it if

You need lockers, a low range or published off-road geometry, or you want the same hardware for less money in the Chevrolet Silverado EV Trail Boss.
